Tangerine
is known as the place to go for those looking to go to a Las Vegas
club on a Wednesday night. This somewhat smaller venue inside
of the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino features a balcony that
overlooks the lake in front of the property, and gives you an
up close view of the "Sirens of TI" Pirate show earlier
in the night. As the name suggests, everything inside of Tangerine
is a bright orange color and includes heavy design remnants of
fellow Pure Management venue “Pure
Nightclub.”

It would
be impossible for anyone to miss this club if they are anywhere
near it. The outer wall of the club is surrounded by brightly
lit orange curtains from floor to ceiling. As you walk up to the
venue the next thing you will notice will be the tables surrounding
the club with hundreds of the same flyers perfectly lined up (I’m
sure they spent a lot of time fixing those all night) and more
than likely a large group of people waiting to get in.
If you are
on the guest list or have a table go ahead and bypass the line
and speak to the doorman. Otherwise find the end of the general
admission line to your right and wait your turn. After you pass
through the cashier area of Tangerine you will be standing in
one of the few open areas in the club big enough for dancing (although
I wouldn’t recommend it as there will be too many people
walking around you). To your right is the main bar. You will notice
the impressive LED light screen above it that is changing to the
beat of the song. Directly in front of you is the outer deck that
looks over Treasure Island’s lake. If you are there early
enough in the night, you might get an up close and personal view
of the “Sirens of TI” pirate show. If being around
all of that water and drinking gives you the urge to pee, you
will need to exit the club to your left and use the restrooms
just outside of the club. Don’t worry though; your stamp
will get you back in through the exit.
*Tip:
It is pretty easy to find “VIP Entry” passes (which
are just comped cover coupons), so try and find those before you
go to Tangerine. Just make sure to read the fine print which will
more than likely have time and gender restrictions.
