Quick Review… The
entertainment department of the MGM Mirage Corporation literally
scoured the world for inspiration when they were designing this
innovative “Ultra-Lounge,” and their efforts are very
evident throughout the venue. As one of the smaller lounges in
town (300-400 capacity), Tabu has successfully created an intimate
atmosphere that will captivate every one of your senses by surrounding
you with an array of supermodel staff members, sophisticated décor,
and pulsating house music.

Virtual Walk Through:
Getting into Tabu is relatively easy. When you walk up to the
door you will see a short General Admission line on the left,
and typically a small group of people directly in front of the
doormen (this is the guest list and table reservation area). If
you are on the list, talk to the doormen; otherwise get in line
and plan on waiting 15-30 minutes.
Once the rope
opens, you will pass through a door to the cashier who will stamp
your wrist. Welcome to the world of Tabu. Directly in front of
you is a lavishly decorated premium stocked bar, to your right
is a group of concrete tables with people dancing on them, and
to your left is a row of leather couches. If you have a Booth
Reservation, just sit down and enjoy. Otherwise hang out at the
bar. Either way you will be surrounded by an incredibly sexy service
staff. Yes ladies and gentlemen, the rumors are true. To work
at Tabu you must have at least two years of modeling experience.
When
to go to Tabu Ultra Lounge: Tabu is open Wednesday –
Sunday starting at 10PM. Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights
are when you will find the best crowds. Show up around 11:30PM.
How
to get to Tabu Ultra Lounge: Tabu is located inside of
MGM Grand. If you are coming in from the parking garage or main
valet you will walk straight ahead and to your left. If you are
coming in from the Strip just follow the signs.
Dress
Code: Tabu has a typical dress code for Las Vegas clubs
and lounges. So just dress like you planned on going out.
