OFFICIAL
REVIEW OF PRIVE NIGHTCLUB by Jack Colton, Updated
4/19/2008
Creating the 'right' vibe inside of a popular nightclub that is
constantly filled with a fresh crowds from across the globe can
be a tricky endeavour to say the least. But, because of Prive's
high-ceiling layout and their lack of roped off areas within the
club (rare for Las Vegas), you will almost always be able to look
around the sprawling mainroom and notice it filled with people
truly having a great time and enjoying every moment of their night
out.
And
in what is an equally creative weekly event, Prive Nightclub hosts
'Money for nothing Mondays' which has a new celebrity host each
week and which, to the delight of the masses, drops $5,000.00
in cash onto the dancefloor at different points of the night.
Partying, hanging out with celebrities, and lining your pockets
with a little extra cash? Welcome to Prive.
KNOW
WHAT TO EXPECT.... by Jack Colton, Updated

There is
nothing worse than not knowing what you are getting yourself into
when you plan a night out. You should know that Prive is one of
the many Las Vegas nightclub's that doesn't have any real designated
general admission line area at the front door. Once you arrive
to the rope area, you will need to fight for the attention of
the nearest doorman or host who will be able to help get your
group in. Also, due to the sheer height and large size of the
mainroom, you might find the club a little awkward to be in if
you arrive too early before the mainroom has a chance to fill
up. If this is the case, work your way into The Living Room lounge
inside of Prive and you find it to be a better spot to hang out
in the mean time. - JC
TABLE
SERVICE SUGGESTIONS: by Jack Colton, Updated
4/19/2008
One of the most frequent questions that comes in through this
site is "where within each club is the best area to reserve
table service?" Ultimately, it always comes down to what
you are looking for on a case-by-case basis. Prive is one of the
few clubs in Las Vegas where the majority of the table areas are
not roped off from the rest of the club, which, as odd as it may
seem, really helps to make every table in the club a fairly good
place to be at. You will find the table areas to the left of the
main entrance a tad more crowded, the ones to the right less crowded
with a good view of the action, and the tables within The Living
Room to be much quieter and conducive for conversation.
You
will find Prive's main entrance located near the long pair of
escalators on the southern part of the Planet Hollywood Casino
floor. Once you pass through the ropes, Prive is up the escalator
and to your left. You will find two (2) main bars in the mainroom
of the nightclub, and one (1) inside of the attached The Living
Room lounge.
